Daemonettes on cover? So…

Daemonettes, Fiends and both named and generic Keeper of Secrets in the army showcase image

Also they said they were in on stream too.

Well this looks grim for daemons

Looks like they are part of the legion codex books now so possibly no longer a single army

It's been looking Grim for Daemons since they got exactly what would've been their Codex Detachments for Grotmas while TSons got a Detachment that only functions with Tzeentchian Daemons.

Gotta say that all the naysaying and negativity about preview and release timeframes over the last few weeks has been nicely put in the ground.

I'm still soaking things in, but the amount of parts and variety on offer are really fantastic. I know there's a lot of bias here from me but this release feels like a labour of love from the designers. The Lord Exultant kit for one is a really great example of what I love seeing from plastic characters.

The kits also look like they'll work perfectly for late heresy Emperor's Children forces.

I’m still absorbing everything, but I love that the Flawless Blades aren’t possessed. And I’m really glad the Infractors and Tormentors did end up being their own kit. Also the normal codex cover is excellent.

Combat Patrol will be

1x Lord Exultant

10x Tormentors/Infractors

6x Flawless Blades

No visibility on the rules of course but that seems like it perfectly meshes with the Army Box.

You'd be at:

-30 Tormentors/Infractors

-6 Flawless

-12 Noise

-2 Lord Exultants

I gotta figure that if you toss Fulgrim, Lucius and maybe another copy of the CP on top you have gotta be very comfortable for 2k.

The Flawless Blades look like a much better 'Eightbound' equivalent, in my opinion - seem to be a lot of options in the kit that make each model look unique far more than what the World Eaters received. As our '3 man elite unit of the release', they're really fantastic. Also share your happiness that they're not possessed so we don't fall into the 'Sixbound' comparisons that were preemptively echoing around some corners of the internet!

Glad to see they go the "expert swordsman" way, not the "6bound" way.

Maybe npt possessed, but who knows how many daemons are in those stims.

Sad you always are lied to about the better (non-craftworld) eldar though... it has to be on purpose by now  You dont deserve an ian malcolm today, you only deserve a brundle.

But thats not the topic. ( and not meant very serious )

I have mixed feelings ( though not necessarily negative ) on EC, they all look individually right up my ally.. and yet the 3 units are so very very similar ( this is likely not an opinion shared, but its my main problem with marines in general and the aforementioned craftworld eldar. ) while at the same time they dont.. I just cant put my finger on it.

I miss alot of corruption in general, though the faces are excellent.

Might be going for just 6 Flawless blades and 6 Noisemarines and skip the legionaires ( got enough daemons to complement it.) as I think they are the source of that feeling in the images. Flawless blades trophy backpacks need some trophying up, and some will get crabclaws.. lets see when awake.

Did somebody catch what comes in the combat patrol or screenshot it ? I only noticed the Flawless blades.

IMG_1239.jpeg.f404aa559c946eb63d4c03776f8d0656.jpegThe flawless blades remind me of xantine from this book he isn’t possessed but he “works” with a demon that makes him stronger but doesn’t allow it to take over like I guess Eightbound is

Is this new or a Kitbash?

That is a basic CSM Sorcerer with an EC head instead of the normal one.

I can attest that because my own TSons Basic Sorcerer is that exact kit with a Bird head instead of the normal one.

Lol the flawless blades are wearing pink crop tops. The only objective they're seizing is the H&M at the mall.

From what I can see the whole army opted for extra high cropped chest pieces, with only the blades fully ditching the undersuit. Really baiting those gut injuries for maximum perforation.

Well I'll be planning 3rd Company Elite and pride of the legion lists tomorrow.

2 army boxes for me. The "basic" marines here for me are the standouts. Amazing minis and huge potential. Really excited.

The noise marines ticked the weapon variety for me with enough visual differences. However, I'd like to see more of the sprues as they still haven't hit the spot. However, I am not complaining.

The elites look superb as does Lucius and the combat orientated character. The noise marine character again, a little odd but I'm looking forward to looking over these tomorrow on a larger screen.

30 years well worth the wait. @Chapter Master Valrak on the money again so big thanks as always. Great to see Ian Malcolm again tonight!
