besides DG, none of the cult legions got any unique vehicles of any sort, did they? thats kind of a let down. BA got their furiosos, baal preds, librarian dreads.. DA got all of their ravenwing nonsense. Do SW have anything? i remember some editions back they could field leman russ' tanks.

I honestly wonder what sort of defensive abilities EC infantry will have to allow them to get into melee. Having an infantry heavy army in this edition is doable, but it hard (like their codpieces).

World Eaters (arguably) have the Khorne Lord of Skulls.

(Arguable, because it came out in 2013 with Apocalypse, then featured in 2015's Codex: Khorne Daemonkin and 2017's Codex: CSMs... so is it right to call it a CSM unit that World Eaters are borrowing, or should it be a World Eaters unit that CSMs provided a second home for...)

Blood Angles have lost their Furioso, Librarian, and (old style) Death Company Dreadnoughts, but still have the Baal Predator. Space Wolves have (for the moment) a custom dreadnought kit, and I guess you could count the ridden wolves as a "vehicle" if you so desired...

I really wish that all the Cult Legions received new Vehicle Upgrade Kits, so that even if they were still using that good old Rhino one Legions' didn't look quite so much like another's.

Space wolves have a flyer. New demon engines or corrupted 30k vehicles would be nice.

I'd love to see slaanesh specific knights as per WD190 (iirc) from old epic. Maybe one day. It's taken 30 years for plastic noise marineS. (Emphasis on plural despite the amazingness of the anniversary figure.)

Yeah I was thinking for my Wishlist they turned those slaanesh titans into knight/wardog scale equivalents but modernised would be a really cool thing to be ec exclusive.

i think if ec did a wave 2 my wishlist would be

-Eidolon

-A new generic character

-Infractors/Tormentors with jump packs or a a ec raptor variant , or an elite 3/6 man jump unit to go with eidolon

-Phoenix terminators

-Sonic Dreadnought

-Either a ec style tank or those slaanesh knights

Phoenix terms were largely disbanded after fulgrim ascended.

Sonic terminators would be great though.

I'd argue that the Blood Angel vehicles aren't necessarily something unique. One is just extra options for an existing model (AKA the Predator) and the other is literally just a Dread with two melee weapons. That's not something that warrants a whole new unit entry. For Dark Angels, I don't think the Vengeance is entirely a unique thing (Land Speeder but Plasma Cannon!) but I'll at least say the Dark Shroud looks more unique.

World Eaters got nothing because that was the laziest release from GW since Custodes first wave. Thousand Sons got the Mutalith, but that's not really a vehicle.

This release makes me really jealous as a World Eater. Multiple unique troop types, none of which is a stupid rebranded cultist squad, multiple unique HQ options, an elite unit based on a highly corrupted HH unit. The models look really good too, but, as with most modern 40k sculpts, these look to be a real undertaking to paint with all of the little studs and rings and doodads.

No Noise Terminators though. Seems like a pretty glaring omission.

An upgrade sprue to equip Predators and Land Raiders with sonic weapons would be peak. I'd actually rather have upgrades/variants for existing vehicles than completely new ones, at least as far as tanks go; a new daemon engine would be cool to be fair. If GW really wanted to make some money off me, they could make a Land Raider variant built around a massic sonic cannon in place of having transport capacity; like a sonic Typhon (though based on a regular LR instead of the Spartan chassis). I had started converting such a monstrosity ages ago to proxy as a Hellforged Achilles at one point...I should really finish that model.

Ever since the Khorne Lord of Skulls I've hoped for a plastic Subjugator for Slaanesh seeing as they did White Dwarf Apocalypse rules for it back in the day. I will continue to hope!

Sonic Dreadnought otherwise feels like the biggest omission seeing as it has previously had an actual 40k mini albeit Forge World. Still, if Hellbrutes get a fun rule for Emperor's Children it could be a fun conversion project!

I'll third (fourth) the desire for a Subjugator as a big centrepiece model, but my other thought was to do Possessed Vorax Battle-Automata as "mini" versions.

Those ones will be in the Glutton branded EC wave, called vore-rax.

Or since loyalist marines have three big new shiny dreads maybe the helbrute kit can be redone in the same vein as the Daemon prince, with a few pieces for each chaos god. Could have a unique weapon for each of the Chaos gods and maybe an unaligned one. The helbrute is hilariously small compared to the new Primaris ones.

That something they all desperately need, the Helbrute model is sadly such a joke, its tiny compared to a redemptor or other mech models it needs an upscale.

Also on valraks stream last night he mentioned that he heard that ec boxset have been sent out to gw stores , so maybe cracks might form for some leakage hmmmmmmmm

If these were a little bigger I’d use them as hellbrutes and turn them into baby subjugators

I'm not sure we need a new Helbrute. The current model's biggest flaw is that it's a Helbrute and not a Chaos Dreadnought; it's really not a terrible kit. I get it's smaller than the Redemptor but A: the Redemptor IMO is too big (remember, the Castraferrum was in-universe designed as smaller than previous Dreadnoughts to be able to get through denser terrain and Zone Mortalis operations that bigger Dreadnoughts would struggle with, something Cawl obviously forgot) and B: Chaos Space Marines already have quite a few larger daemon engines, a bigger Helbrute would be kinda redundant. I'd rather we got a refresh of the old Defiler for a bigger walker kit.

That settles it then, I'd like a Sonic Leviathan Dread please
