Hi all,

I've been in the tabletop hobby since I was a wee lad in '91, playing HeroQuest with my dad and his coworkers, and nowadays that's actually probably the most gaming I get, playing with my father-in-law and another friend.

Over the past 25 years, I've collected (and gotten rid of) many armies - Space Wolves, Blood Angels, Flesh Tearers, Dark Angels, Tau, Eldar...

And then there was a long hiatus, after which I came back into Blood Angels for a long time. I got really good at painting red.

When the Eldar refresh came out a few years ago, I bought the battleforce and began painting them as craftworld Mymeara.

I still didn't play any games with them....juuuuust painting.

But then recently, I started wanting to do my own thing. For the past forever, I've been painting Blood Angels as my main army, both as a kid and as an adult. But around 15 years ago, I came up with my own Blood Angels successor. They'd be Grecian, have green armor, use spears, and be seafaring. I was getting psyched to finally bring these guys to life after all this time!

Then I found out that GW was psychic and stole the Atlantean Spears out of my brain in 9th edition. Jerks.

So I took some of the ideas from this chapter and started all over again, and now my goal is first to paint a firstborn killteam of my chapter, the Thalassians, and then start building an army with a copy of Leviathan I was luckily able to pick up.

I'm excited to be back on this message board - I was very active as a teenager in the early 2000s. Talk to you all soon!
