Garro and shattered legion/blackshields interaction.

Can garro, or any of the knights errant, be selected as part of a blackshields force or a shattered legion force. 

 

The shattered legion rules state that every model need to represent one of the chosen legions. Each model needs to clearly show that legions iconography. Ones that don't, do not count towards the majority/minority of a unit. 

 

I'm taking from this that they cannot be part of the detachment. 

 

Blackshields do not seem to have such rules so I'm leaning towards them being allowed. They're not an option on new recruit however. 

 

Is anyone able to shed any light on this please?

A Blackshields detachment may never include any models with the Agent of the Emperor/Warmaster rule, as part of their Beholden to None legion rule. No clue about the Shattered legions tho

 

*which apparently Knights Errant do not have, so maybe it's kosher

Thanks for responding. 

 

Yeah for blackshields, this was my reasoning. I just don't seem to be able to find a definitive answer. 

 

Same for shattered however, I think the rules as written do preclude them. 

 

They're depicted quite a lot in the books as being involved with various splinter groups, it would be a shame if this cannot be recreated on game.
