That seems likely, yeah. They make some light/colour jokes in the article, though this late in the evening my time I can't think of what that could mean.

Doesn't look too large going off the print lines, either a display or some type of light - could be anything Imperium/Ad Mech or Votann to be fair

Might be Votann.. but I think everything might be Votann! Although possibly a little too angular, Votann have more curved surfaces [thinking about the pioneer bike antigravity pads].

Actually, those metallic-looking dongles, the three bars? They look somehow Horus Heresy, to me.

Makes me think of the Leagues of Votann for some reason. Maybe some sort of deploy-able / vehicle mounted shield generator?

I thought that at first too although I think the bead on power weapons is generally a little bit smaller and rounder.

The three cables with a nub on the end looks like the power transmitter(?) on a power sword.  Implies it's human/marines of either flavour.  Looks a bit like a mine but considering what has been photoshopped out it could easily be a detail on a bigger part.

Leagues stuff tends to have counter-sunk bolts instead of projecting ones like that (although the smallest ones do end up being tiny bumps). Also the 'power-weapon wires' motif basically doesn't occur on Leagues.

 

I'm guessing it's not just a lamp since if it were it would be one with the same power source as three power swords? More likely part of a larger mechanical assembly or a power field generator? It does look like it's photoshopped away from its actual context... Could definitely see it as basically a Knight 'tilting shield', although it's definitely not a Heresy-style void shield...

If its photoshopped away from the rest of it, one can assume that the rest is more revealing, otherwise why bother ?

 

 

Im leaning into something Librarian related as both design elements appear there ( the mushrooms are very remniscent of the ones on voldus hood backside, and the orb reminded me of two things before someone mentioned librarian; necrons green orbs and the new librarians blue ones.)

 

When taking into consideration rumors, Valrak had talked ( but not alot ) about two grey knights rumors earlier; a grey knights kill team and a "vehicle" coming with grey knights codex, though I cant remember if that could include dreadnoughts etc.  or basically means tank.

I could see this as an element of the latter.. though who knows, the kill team might use psychic mines and this isnt photoshopped at all.

 

 

When not taking rumors in consideration Id still lean into grey knights, its one of 5 confirmed codices for next year after all, and I dont think they'd be so confident in saying next year last summer if it wasnt in the earlier half to 2/3th of next year.

 

 

edit : I forgot to return to my first point.

 

Greyknights is also something where I think elements around the device could have been revealing, the etched words that are part of their style could be there... in contrary to other imperium things wich would be as generic ( across imperium and even votann.) as the device itself is.

Bolts do generally seem to be a bit different for the Leagues units typically, but you do get projecting ones like on the Brokkyr.

The wires are something that show up on Kin plasma weapons too.
