Viking Slade
It was suggested I ask over here, but I am trying to decide if I want to completely assemble my Stormraven or not. Without attaching the base, would a fully assembled Stormraven model fit in one side of the Citadel Monster Figure Case? Helias_Tancred
I've never attached the bases to the previous Stormravens I've built and owned. I attach the plastic flight stand to the base and then leave it like that. The Stormraven is made so that it will sit on the stand when it is put on it correctly. If you are putting it on the flight stand and it keeps tilting backwards and fall off you need to put it going the other direction on the stand. The base and stand are glued together, and I don't plan on going out to the model itself. My question pertains to the actual Stormraven. See my attached pics above. My question is can I glue the top piece to the bottom piece and still have it safely fit in the monster figure case. You take out the top tray, and the insert of the bottom tray, and it will fit in there. So your case still has the two foam trays and their inserts on one side for your miniatures, but the other side is all Stormraven and the stand/base. I think I even took out the wavy insert and used it as padding around the model too? Xenith
I didn't glue the wings on my stormraven - the wing tab slots perfectly between the upper plate and the air intake thing, and holds with friction. I can slide the wings off mine and it fits perfectly into one tray in a GW crusade case.
