If you are looking for modular plastic ruins that cover a whole table, you could find this one interesting. It also comes, as the title suggests, fully painted in this new iteration if you wish.

Here is a goonhammer review, which is very positive about it:

Sorry if there is another thread about it. I did a search and couldn't find it.

This could be a problem if you plan to disassemble it every time you finish a game, yes.

But if that's not the case, this is some of the best thought out terrain, I've seen. It actually works with the terrain rules GW puts out.

I've put together a whole table, it's awesome terrain.  Like a lego or construction set from my youth.  Really snug connections and only one piece had a little bit of warping, and the guy provided a whole extra add on set to replace the one for my buddy so that was pretty legit.

Tabletop Tactics also released a short video.

Right now I'm backing on one of the full table sets. It's quite an investment, but looking at GW terrain prices it's really a bargain.

I'll try and sell off my old ruins afterwards to get some of the money back.

Yeah could be annoying if you were to disassemble it every game, but every now and then just to change things up, and for rare occasions like moving homes.

I got an unpainted half table set from the last Kickstarter, and it's good stuff!

The ability to take it apart is nice, but honestly I haven't bothered disassembling anything since I built the suggested layouts; with just a half table I can add in other stuff for variety's sake.

The last kickstarter had a 'fully painted' option, but apparently the finish was... not great. I think Snot Goblin offered people who went for that tier a free return to get this new painted version if they wanted, so the customer service seems to be on point.

Cheers,

An interesting idea, even if the idea of pre-painted terrain galls me something fierce. Also a bit of a shame you're basically limited to making the same old L-shaped ruins.

We can blame competitive 40k for that development

But you actually can build something else than L-shapes.

Actually you are totally free to build any shape you want (within the limits). They just show the standard GW competitive layout "on the box", because they know who the core buyers are.

There is even an add-on that gives you more bottom floor build options

Imagine seeing legos and being like "It's a shame the only thing I can build is what's on the box."

Gotta let that imagination fly!  I've made some really cool non L shaped buildings, and even played games on them.  No one's forcing anyone to play on the Pariah Tournament Pack.

What they really lack are proper doors and arches. Also, I'd like to see some lids to close the windows if you want to. Those could look like makeshift barricades for urban combat or just, you know actual shutters.

The wall pieces come as opened or closed shutters.  Openable shutters is a bit beyond the scope of this terrain I think.

You can make arches pretty easily by using the top crenelation upside down next to wall pieces.
