Need opinions about making a ballistus from leviathan

Ballistus conversion ideas gathering...so...i will mount a twin linked lascannon on one of the arms...now I am trying to figure out where to put the missile launcher...this is my first option...mounting them on the top and leaving a fist on the other arm. (I am using another levi from my IW to try to see the possibile result).
The other option is to mount the launcher on the other arm (but I am still waiting for the 3d printed launcher to arrive, it will be a whirlwind turret one)...what do you think? I d like to hear your honest opinions...both on the overall look and on how much this woukd be acceptable (considering it will have both the correct loadout, and base size).

 

So missiles on top...yes or no?

Missiles on the top look cool. Maybe for the arm you could mount some sort of scanner on it. A bit like the old Cyclone Missile Launcher Terminators.

From a perspective of being armed as the rules say, having the missiles on the arm (or having no weapons on the arm) is probably the least likely to cause confusion.

 

However, I generally tend to follow the rule of cool  - as you've got the other part coming, try it with both and see which you prefer the look of.

I too run with rule of cool, however, if you intend on playing with randoms or competitively, I'd ensure the overall height matches the Ballistus.

 The added height from the missile pods is what I was thinking about.

Yes, i mean, regular leviathan is a bit shorter than redemptor/ballistus, so with the pods they shall be similar.

Ballistus converted from Leviathan v2, this has the launcher on the other arm. More in line with the original i think...what do you think?
