Something a little different for Heresy Thursday.  Some rules for including automata units in your non-Mechanicum Formations (and a couple more for Dark/Mechanicum). Link to the PDF.

You can now add Legio Cybernetica cohorts to your armies with Bonded Cybernetica Support Formations. Support Formations are a new type of Formation with simple rules for inclusion in your army lists: for every regular Formation chosen from a Core List, an army can include one Support Formation. Some of these give you the option to choose Detachments from other army lists – and unless otherwise stated, these units do not count as allies, nor towards the Allied Contingents points limit.

There are seven Formations: one each for the Legiones Astartes, Solar Auxilia, Mechanicum Taghmata, Dark Mechanicum and Collegia Titanica, and two for the Knight Households. Alongside special rules and Detachment lists, each also has a Designer’s Note giving you ideas on how you might want to convert or paint your miniatures.

And new colour plates:

It's a little bit disappointing that since the reveal of Ad Mech, there's been nothing for AoD other than a long delayed upgrade sprue. I like LI, and I've got some, but AoD is starting to feel a little neglected.

Classic GW

Make a huge deal about something returning and then oops sorry

And they didn't feel the need to put that important tidbit at the end of the article itself...

Best is that comment is already 6 days old and it took until now for somebody here to find it. SO they really don't want you to know this

To be honest, WarComms output has dropped off considerably of late on all topics. Not sure if there's nothing to say or nobody to say it. We've gone from a regular 3+ posts a day to 1 or 2 max.

GW content has dropped off considerably. We're in a protracted phase of dribbling out reboxes, random festive items, books and the like. They got nothing and had nearly nothing since KT was released.

The rules actually seem pretty interesting, but every single Formation is still missing the biggest thing that Mechanicum is missing: freakin Air Support. There’s literally no Formation that has it as an option. Why, GW??!

Other than that, it seems like this could be a cool little fluffy option for things like Legios… now all we need is Secutarii.

It is rather common every year'd end. Or at least it is how I feel it... But maybe it is the normal rhythm and the previous gallore was the inusual stuff.

Wasn't the last colour plate already published some times ago? Loks familiar but I cannot put my finger on it...

After 2 years of wainting for a WE Preator I gived up and lost any interest in HH and gw way to support it.

You got one in the HH 2.0 core box in all but name. Beefy guy with axe is perfect for WE. If GW released a special WE Praetor you would have gotten a flanderized version anyway.

Interesting note but that vast majority of their new books have been skewed towards fairly new or less popular writers sans Brooks on fairly niche story lines too.

Havent seen any Wraight, ADB, French, Haley or Abnett recently that wasn't a repackage. I think the aeronautica by Abnett announced a few months back MIGHT be new but not sure....

No new installments on any of the ongoing series other than DoF which is fairly contentious on quality at best, no touches on Guilliman or the Lion, no word on any followup to the extremely popular Necron books, the Ynnari mostly live in memes, etc.

It usually starts later than this, end of november is where things really drop off but post aos 3.0 content has plummeted.

On the heresy front if we don't get another primarch ( Doubtful at this point) this year it completely puts to bed any real belief that every one will get a new version like they said.

The entire contents of the mars 28mm scale book is just ??? currently and heresy thursday going to once a month pretty much guarantees that it's going to be 6+ months until they're released as heresy thursday has been 50/50 li and 28mm since it dropped.

Should just can Heresy Thursday and bring back the ad hoc pre-2.0 Legion Dispatch if it's not going to be every week. A little bit of clear communication every now and again that isn't hidden in a facebook comment would be great.

Hopefully 2025 brings more to be excited about.

Yeah, I’m convinced something is up at GW.

Now excuse me while I go mourn the loss of Heresy Thursday.

in all seriousness though, I like the thinking behind these rules. Will definitely be trying them out when I’ve built my Mechanicum box (which has been consigned to the Christmas cupboard grumble…)
