Lord Marshal
It is odd we haven't seen any of the Martian Civil War characters, but TOW similarly is only just getting more of the Dwarf characters despite their Arcane Journal being out three months ago. They've also yet to officially announce the LI Krios and Karacnos despite them literally having shown the models already in an earlier article, which is very odd. Aside from a Nurglings being spat out from the Warp Rift that Nottingham sits on, the only theory I have is things are slowing down due to a new edition presumably dropping next year and there probably being a bumper set of releases for that. To be fair it was only a few weeks ago that everybody from 40k to AoS fans were grumbling about the lack of much coming for the rest of 2024 after the painfully limited roadmaps were revealed, so this isn't necessarily a 30k only thing. Indy Techwisp
Back on topic, can you take a Tech Priest Auxilla in any of these Support Formations? I believe you can with the Solar Auxilia Formation, but that’s it. I’m wondering when we’ll ever see the Stalkers go up on preorder. I was hoping this weekend or the next, but now it’s kinda up in the air. That’s not even considering the individual releases for the contents of the Mechanicum box. Indy Techwisp
...Y'know, I just went to go look up an image of the Sprue to see if the Tech Priest Servo Arms are a separate bit like the Marine Rocket Launchers and I've just now realised I've not seen any actual photos of the Tech Priest Auxilia mini. I mean more so that of all the people who've gotten their boxes, I've not seen any of them actually show what the Tech Priest Auxilia looks like outside of the Warhammer Studio Model. Some rules for including automata units in your non-Mechanicum Formations (and a couple more for Dark/Mechanicum). Link to the PDF. And new colour plates: Just wondering if these are really new art pics or recycled from Black Book 7 Inferno. I did a quick look through Book 7 and the first one is in it with the exact same colors and name/title on page 176. The third one first appeared on page 212/213 in Book 3 Extermination in a different color and later on page 136 in Book 5 with the same colors and title. The second one and the fourth image from the article are a different image, probably newer, but no idea where they originated. The HH Liber Mechanicum still used the other template and since I also can't find that version from a quick google search it might be new.
