so I have a theory. The bequin trilogy takes place well before the current point in the time line if I’m not mistaken. This generally means that any major effects on the universe as a whole would be a retconn right? Wrong. The Yellow King is in some sort of pocket dimension or something. Time works differently there, meaning when he emerges it will be the modern era in universe.

maybe the BA will finally even get the truly winged marines now.

Bequin is set about 500 years before the Fall of Cadia IIRC but you are right that the City of Dust is a separate dimension. It is a bit like the Webway in that is neither wholly in the material universe nor in the Warp. I don't think we have seen any discontinuity or time skips when characters enter or leave but it could happen. Also, we are assuming that Pandemonium will resolve the whole thing but it might leave it open-ended. It could end with the main characters escaping or even joining Valdor while he continues to build his forces in the City of Dust.

Abnett has mentioned how this new super secret project he’s working on will have massive effects on the 40K universe as a whole to the point he had to get special permission for it.

that tells me it will be a bit more than the heroes either escaping or joining the yellow king.

maybe it will be some sort of massive retcon, but I think time shenanigans are most likely. Maybe the yellow king comes out of his dimension with his fleet and army, but end up in the modern era due to warp shenanigans if the dimension doesn’t make time act differently inside vs outside of it.

Looking at the embargo dates, I would guesstimate it’s more, likely the paperback copy of interceptor city. Everything else in the video I agree to the content, etc. but typically seeing the embargo dates for an Amazon site will be what releases on Amazon and they only get paperbacks and since we don’t have a special edition of pandemonium announced and released and there’s typically a wait time between special edition and Amazon, I’m skeptical.

If Dan's big reveal is more Perpetuals stuff, I'm going to become An Eldar Harlequin.

The big reveal will be that Valdor figured out how to merge the end of the Scouring timeline (just after the last book, coincidentally) into modern times using space magic. This causes the Emperor to finally die on the Golden Throne, because reasons, but he will immediately reincarnate into an even more awesome form so no worries.

Then the Perpetuals will show up with all of the Primarchs, and Guilliman will reconsolidate every Space Marine chapter back into their respective Legions, thus completing GW's work and cutting 10,000 years of history out of the setting.

Not going to lie, I would actually love the Emperor back.

Quickest way to ruin 40K.

They couldnt even handle him in the era he was part of, there is zero chance Haley can do it properly, and Dan took his shot and failed.

Please don't give them ideas.

considering how much I loved Dante and the other blood angel books, I feel like

haley does characters well - if he is feeling it.

but I do broadly agree that we don’t need big e coming back

I agree, the Emperor should stay remote. The irony is that he is the one being who might be able to fix the setting but is also largely responsible for it being the way it is in the first place.

Sure. It is all fake.

Got it. Fake.

Now that is what we call in the industry a carefully, constructed lie. Believe in the foil brethren and ignore everything else. It´s the whispers of the warp which try to lead you astray.

I respectfully disagree that these rumors are fake. And I also respectfully disagree that Valrak is the one saying them, or that there is even someone named Valrak.

I respectfully agree that I also respectfully disagree, and possibly am also respectfully offended to even see a mention of this person who does not exist.

Here, take this reaction. I am far too busy to respond with words, but want you to know my feelings anyway because it is very important that you know them.
