Primaris Proxy - Lukas the Trickster (Space Wolves)

Found some forgotten WIP photos of a primaris kitbash i just got around to painting.  Nothing too flash, standard AI model with a printed arm + claw by Greytide Studio.  

In lore, Lukas has an unique cape made from a Doppelgangrel hide but my sculpting skills are poor so i dipped back into Greytide bits again.  I had to eventually get a little creative with the painting of the cloak just to help him stand out a little from the rest of my primaris proxied Blood Claws

Thanks. But definitely some things I'd do differently if I had my time again.

 

I'd lop the exhaust vents from the Primaris pack and transplant in the wolfs head vents from the power pack on the firstborn upgrade sprue.

 

The head is another one I'd revisit. Whilst that head from the blood claws box is probably the closest you can get in plastic... I'd definitely pay someone to digitally model something closer to his fine cast model.

Whilst I think it looks good as-is, the "wolf exhaust vents" would be a nice touch - I take it the backpack is glued on?

Wasn't at time of the photos; power pack, cloak and arms were just blue-tacked in place whilst I procrastinated for several weeks.  I have a bad habbit of leaving half glued character models/kit-bashes on my desk for months so they are in my peripheral all day and I can second guess everything.  

 

I deliberated over the regular primaris backpack for an age, trying to find the balance for vlka fenryka without tipping the scales too far.  Once I had it painted, i kinda kicked myself over it.  I'll throw up some pics of the painted version in a bit

So here's the finished (for now) model.  Ecuse the :cuss:ty camera and poor lighting.

 

It doesn't really show it off, but there's a highlight of colour shift on the cloak
