With Loyalist marines its my Angstrom camo Red Scorpions. Currently I am running a Vanguard detachment. I am trying to reduce the number of armies I have(as I just bought the first 1k of DE) and I am going to strip my 40k Dark Angels and re paint them into this paint scheme or into my Space Wolf Minotaurs.  Doing so will give me the ability to run pretty much any detachment outside of Stormlance since I only have a single unit of outriders. Might be fun to run 30 terminators at once just for Lols. I am probably selling my 30k Dark Angel specific models as I dont need 3 30k armies for a game I might get one game a year in of not that I have a bunch of specific units for them. 

I like to field only painted models so I only have about 1100 or so done. I paint glacially slow and this scheme doesnt help with that,

Yeah... probably time to bite the bullet and start running my Infantry Assault list in an... Infantry Assault detachment. I want to stay with Stormlance, but it's clearly not really worth it. With any luck yesterday's rumour engine is another core Astartes Mounted unit so that I can transition to a proper Stormlance theme using base codex without doing another 6 Outriders + Chaplain or whatever. I'm almost sold on the idea of adding 10x Jump Ints and a Jump Captain next... but Eldar are gonna get in the way in the near term.

I have yet to play 10th but currently I'm building this list because I really want to make Sword Bros the core of my lists

 

Helbrecht

Captain with shield and Sigismunds Seal

2x Castellan, 1 with Perditons Edge

Emperors Champion

 

2xInfiltrators

3x 5 man Sword Bros with all the gubbins

2x Land Raiders

2x Redemptors with plasma

 

The idea is that 2 squads will Crit on 5+s and get Sustained hits from the Vow, Lethal from the Castellan and the other has the Emperors Champion, sort of mini deathstars that should just rip to shreds what they touch. It's a silly list but I like the idea of it, thought of swapping the redemptors for Vindicators but I don't have the models yet and Dreads are more versatile imo.
