Hi all,

I was wondering what kind of experience people have had with Mortian's printed products.

I notice that any of the 3d prints (such as the mini crawlers) are listed as being "pre-cured" which means that "you must put the models in UV light for half an hour (sunlight also works but might take longer depending on the UV intensity of your location) to fully cure."

Has anyone ever had to do this and what was your experience of the process?

This is an odd choice, and best guess is, being partially cured, allows it some flexibility, and therefore more resiliance in the mail, which in turn prevents more parts arriving broken. Being pre-cured to me reads as only the surface has had a light cure, and that there *shouldn't* be any liquid resin on the model. There may however, be some leakage if the model was printed hollow. I would still recommend gloves, and curing the pieces with multiple rotations to ensure a full cure before touching ungloved.

Thanks, I do believe Mortian recommends gloves when handling the resin. It's not something I have ever encountered before so was curious as to how it works out in practice.
