Here it is!

The Champions of Fenris Detachment.

It's a Dreadnaught and Terminator focused one.

Called it!

Looks like a fun counter charge type of playstyle, as long as your un8ts are in packs your enemy will get punished for charging as a Dreadnought just jumps from nowhere to protect his little brothers.

We regret to inform you that there’s no Grotmas Detachment coming tomorrow. On the other hand, it is Christmas – and we have another gift for anyone who visits Warhammer Community tomorrow…

Gee I wonder what that surprise will be

Space Wolves detachment looks fun, planning on starting an army to go against my nids (i like having opposed armies on matching bases).

We're the index ones ever buffed?

Definitely saving that Space Wolf detachment for the summer. Can’t wait to remake my first 40k army that wasn’t codex marines, including the ridiculous amount of terminators I had back then!

Pretty sure it was buffed some time ago I believe to just have it so all sagas were active for the army instead of just picking one, so if you ever complete the requirement you get the bonus army wide.

Interesting detachment, not sure how much it will come up as 3" is incredibly questionable distance to keep from an enemy unit unless forced somehow. Looks fun and I suppose it is just army wide heroic interventions in a sense so that could be quite difficult to avoid.

I figure it’s one of those rules that rewards people who are incredibly well practiced at the game, but is almost impossible to pull off if one is a plebe like me.

Would have been more fun if 3” deepstrike was still a thing :teehee:

The key problem is that it's at the end of the charge phase too, so you can counter it yourself by just making sure you make a charge instead.

If Terminators got fixed it'd be a lot more interesting at least.

Yeah, the way I can see it working is when someone really wraps a unit using Pile In. The 3” threat may change how they choose to Pile In; especially if they have a 6” pile in strat available.

3" means that if you stand in the middle of an objective and someone so much as steps a toe on it, you get to heroic into them.

The enhancement increasing it to 6" means you can be on the other side of the objective, maybe behind a wall, and no one else is getting on there.
