Expand These boxes are usually around $230 USD, 145 GBP, (Based on BA Box set released most recently). I think on release the BA box set could be found reliably for $210 and 115GBP respectively. Expand Blood Angels was £140 and Deathwing was £135. Given the size of the Deathriders, a special character and artillery piece being quite large, I'd be surprised if it's less than either of those. INKS Posted January 5 Share Posted January 5 I am really tempted by this. And I have always considered myself more of a steel legion fan. but the horses are cool, the artillery is awesome. I am going through the paints and basing materials I'll need and it is expensive. that alone might stop me but it is very tempting. Expand Pre-orders generally go live at 10am local time for wherever you are. In the US its 10am Pacific. I'm not sure if other countries with multiple time zones are different. I have one squad or plastic Krieg from kill team and have tried to convince myself this and the boxset would be a good starting point for a new guard army but that way madness lies! (and financial ruin!). I'd want to ahve both an infantry horde army and a tanks one - I dont have the time, money, space or sanity for this at the moment. The battle force is not a great basis for an army because there’s not enough of either infantry or tanks - the two great staples of the guard. It’s more of something to buy to add on to a core force. GW need to get their act together with Krieg, and seriously, provide a better way of getting hold of lots of infantry. There are some very good and very reasonably priced 3D printed versions out there and at the very least a Krieg combat patrol similar to the Cadian one needs to be released to keep up. I’m seriously considering buying a whole load of third-party Krieg at the moment because the GW plastics are just too expensive at £42.50 a box. Even with FLGS discount that’s too much for the numbers you need for a decent force. Only the artillery and Lord are actually cool, death riders design being very watered down and cartoonified compared to the resin originals. Also, very unlikely the DKOK get access to the plastic auxilia tanks, so the feel of the faction will feel wrong on the tabletop. Pass. Expand Thanks for doing this again. Not a good patrol at all, again nothing really that you want for a core of a force, which CPs are supposed to be. Even more dumb if this replaces the current combat patrol, as it probably will. Very poor choice.
