If they're made in the UK, there's a non-zero chance they're made by HMG in Manchester, who make GW's current line (and Coat D'Arms and P3)

Just remember this: The revenue from Mikey's video is going the workers strike fund. So I think it's more tha  worth to watch it.

Dug up my old login details to comment that, per the workers themselves in the article linked earlier, they are NOT asking for a boycott of Vallejo products! At least as of time of that posting.

I'm happy to be corrected if newer details emerge, but I feel like it's important to point out the discrepancy. It looks like Hellstorm got in touch with CGT Catalunya, the regional union, and so the wishes of the employees may differ in terms of boycott / no-boycott.

This makes sense - once people move to other paints they may well not come back, there is no value in a strike that kills your job, much better to add pressure by supply rather than demand manipulation.

After 26 days of escalating actions, striking workers at the Catalonian paint manufacturer Acrylicos Vallejo have won significant victories at the negotiating table. Vallejo manufactures the Game Color and Model Color line paints that are most popularly used for miniatures and wargames. According to a post on the Catalonian labor organization CGT’s Bluesky page, a pre-agreement has been signed that would guarantee workers a salary increase, a parental aid package, new workplace harassment protocols, and occupational safety improvements.

Heven forbid a business try to make the environment safe for workers. I don't know why there's people out there that think the free market somehow fixes this; it never has.

Good for the union, those seem like decent goals to have reached as far as negotiations go.

Personally, I've only used Vallejo recently for their Fluor and some technical paints- my normal stuff is Citadel for metal/technicals/washes and Reaper for basic colors. Looking forward to the Blanch sets from Army Painter though, will be perfect for my Trench Crusade project.

Their ground effects products are great. Tons of different colors and textures to work with, and the amount of area you can cover with just one jar is bonkers.
