Karhedron
I am interested in suggestions for some infantry to support my IKs. In previous editions, I had some small Skitarii squads that I used for this purpose but rules changes mean I can't use these (although I might proxy the models). I envisage using these for things like camping on my home Objective and performing actions. Here are my thoughts so far. Deathwatch are the most durable for the points with 10 T4 wounds for 100 points. They also have a pretty compact footprint. Sisters of Battle. 10 T3 wounds for 115 points so less durable but they do have the ability to sticky Objectives. Voidsmen at Arms. Cheapest unit by points but also the weakest. I can proxy with my Skitarii pretty easily but I will need to fins some Canids or proxies. Give me your inspiration Fraters! tychobi
Sticky is too good to pass up, I vote sisters. This is a score pick no matter what might as well make it count. Tag the home base and either sprawl out deep strike or advance for scoring opportunities. Other picks just park you at home hoping to survive. Competitively, it's the requisitioned Battle Sister Squad for the Sticky Objectives. Thematically, it's the Subductor Squad 'cause adding a Shieldwall to a Knights list just feels right. Lord_Ikka
Subductors are pretty good- their 4+ invuln can be really helpful for making them a much more durable unit than expected of a T3 squad. I personally have been using an Exaction squad w/Draxus to go around and do actions and a cheapy Imperial Agents squad to sit on my home objective. Karhedron
Thanks for all the suggestions. Is there anywhere to get Exactors and Subductors outside of the Agents Combat Patrol?
