Aircraft and Reserve

Hi everyone,

So Aircraft must start the game in reserve and cannot come onto the board until at least turn 2. The rules say that when they come on they must be placed wholly within 6 inches of a certain board edge. 

My question is: Does this count as their movement? 

My friend said it does and so the aircraft not only can't come in till Turn 2 but then also must sit within the said 6 inches for a turn. 

I don't see in the rules where it says that the 6 inches counts as it's movement. Shouldn't it be able to do it's move after being set up?

Oh, never mind. I found the section in the Movement phase where it says Reserves don't move after they come in.
