Focslain
8 hours ago, Grotsmasha said: I haven't seen the announcement myself, so pls excuse if this WAS specified, BUT, did they say these shows were leaving twitch, or just that they would be joining WH+? It was not, best hope is that this is where they put the 'VoDs' from their twitch channel. At least it would allow others to watch what they want when they want. That is the hope anyway. LemanPuss
A very lame set of new shows. I used to watch much of that stuff for free. Animations continually teased but not delivered. The exclusive minis didn't exactly get my pulse raised. I'm a subscriber since day 1 but plan to drop it next year. Emperor Ming, Toxichobbit, phandaal and 1 other 2 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384736-warhammer-tv-2025-new-format-new-shows/page/2/#findComment-6079418 Share on other sites

Rusted Boltgun
I've had my subscription for a couple of years now but haven't used it much recently other than watching the battle reports with my son. I popped on one of the most recent Citadel Masterclass episodes and, in my opinion, the production quality has stepped up a notch from previous efforts. I know the 'you can get it for free' argument and the very good Artis Opus, Cult of Paint, etc videos on YouTube which I do watch (especially CoP, great to paint along to), however, I honestly believe there is a clear step up in quality of presentation (clear, slow, measured) and camera work (clarity, quality, lighting). And no adverts. Even better for me, we got a new family TV and I discovered you get get WH+ on the Fire stick so I can watch stuff on something other than my tablet. Wahey! To balance things out, battle reports now feel far more rushed than they used to. I guess it is meant to ramp up excitement but they rush over the mechanics of the game when I want to learn how to play, not just see who wins. Time to catch up on all those animations I have missed (The Tithes, Broken Lance, some Deathwatch thing). ThePenitentOne
I would watch Scrap Demon, Questing Nights and Da Mekboy's Workshop. I should check the catalogues of Lore Masters, and Masterclass to see if any of them grab me. DukeLeto69
My hope is the lack of animated shows is somehow linked to “drama” being part of the Amazon deal (which despite all the hyperbole is still going on behind the scenes).
