Love the champion shoulders and his helmet too. Very much more space knight than space marine in my view, especially my own dude who ended up carving up a carnifex through lucky dice in his very first game after it wiped out the rest of the squad about a decade or two ago (known since as Sir Gregor the Giantkiller). Need the captain body as I let my eldest use mine to build their own space marine (roughly 75% completed at this point, they are lazy(akaa adhd)  as I am) but I think they will finish eventually.  Apothecary bits are always nice to have also. Heck, I could go on and on. Simply a nice kit to have. The Librarian and chaplain would be nice to have also, even If I do prefer to make my own fellas from bits instead of the premade guys.

Nice to see some Firstborn love even if it is MTO of older kits. Those Terminators are especially nice; I know they're a bit smaller than the current ones but IMO the updated Terminators are a bit too big (incidentally, a pre-Leviathan Terminator's head is the same level as a Primaris Marine so make of that what you will) so...hmm.

I beg to differ. Buy appropriate bases and you have a very special Terminator squad for Space Hulk which is NOT BA themed. I am considering this now. 

 

Question: Do those new vintage Terminators come with helmet options? The vast majority of their heads would look out of place in an Iron Hands squad.

Assault weapons on the new Terminators and getting a Terminator Ancient that's somewhat closer to the correct scale without Blood Angel stuff sculpted onto the banner.

They all have a choice of helmet or bare head.

Another thing to note. These are much easier to remove from the sprue, and the push fit is better. Perks of being made by Bandai

Gee-Dubbs push-fit goes half the way and becomes stuck. Retraction results in breakage. Been there, done that.

GW Pushfit works a lot better if you put Glue in the Peg Hole imo

I did some really cool Deathwing Terminators the previous time I got some of those terminators. I think this time I'll get the set and look at kitbashing some Wolf Guard terminators for my Space Wolves while all of that is still around.

I just want the damn banner and banner arm. It'd have to go on a new body. But im not getting that entire set just for an arm.

Does everyone not have a couple of banners laying around from the various other kits?  I guess I got lucky getting that Archangel Strike Force back in 2017 or whatever it was that had two of the BA terminator sets. 

 

We were so spoiled back then.  I guess I never realized that Termie ancients were an endangered species!

Seeing how many people want just the ancient/banner, I might be able to pick a few termis for "cheap" Failing that, I will see when they go for order, and if the price is not too ridiculous, I might just get a set and sell the ancient, I do not really have a use for it in my plans.

I always do this, but I trim the peg a bit to keep it from pushing back out from trying to compress the glue.

I have plenty of banners, many still on sprues from both primaris and first born kits. I would still like this model 

The old plastic command squad was one of my favorite sets released for conversion fodder, particularly before there was a plastic DW terminator set or ravewing/black knights sets.

I'll cave in. The difference in size doesn't bother me at all and the sculpts are some of the best vanilla termies I've ever seen. Hopefully the price won't be too outrageous.

I really like that Chaplin, who for what ever reason has always been hard to get ahold of in the USA. But not enough to buy the whole set. Some other neat bits, but too much money for bits and one model.

There isn't one directly, they'll appear in the 'New and Exclusive' > 'Pre Orders' section when they go live.

Listed as NZ$215.00 for 10x Terminators and NZ$248.00 for 8x Command, which appears to be c. £70 and c. £80 respectively, but the NZ prices seem to vary widely compared to UK ones so probably different.

If you find something else for 215nz, for example a tactical squad, then see what a tac squad costs in your currency it'll be that. Hope that makes sense. Running Google currency converter doesn't work

Yeah I know, I mean the prices on the site are wildly different between NZ and UK for different products,  eg Combat Patrols are all £100 or NZ$278 - $330 so you don't know what it'll convert as. Or look at Pallas costs vs others. Just one example.
