They dont call it plastic crack for a reason. We just buy more and more and our grey pile of shame build and builds. So basically i was in the same position and what i did was sell everything. I then started from scratch and did step 3 and 4 this time, (still ended up with a few unpainted units as i bought army boxes combat patrols) keep the tools but sell the plastic crack. When starting fresh i regretted getting rid of the paints and tools more than the plastic. On the plus side i got rid od all my stuff around 6th edition and came back to the hobby at the end of 8th beginning of 9th to amazing new models (heres looking at you Primaris marines) and some ugly transports and hover vehicles. So i started fresh with my space wolves. However the hardest part is deciding what to sell off. Also how many drop pods does somebody needs, did i count 9 or 10? When you know you are not going to build or paint something until an unspecified point in time, it removes a lot of the pressure to buy things right away. Jukkiz
to me it is easy. Outpriced. i have pile of shame and what little i would get from GW, i get from sales or other hobbyists. If i cannot get what i might like, i bite the bullet and get a box, though this is now rare for me. I rather actually work off all the pile of shame and sort the bits for safe keeping, for friends or to sell. phandaal and Scribe 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384782-how-do-you-let-go/page/2/#findComment-6131660 Share on other sites
Scribe
Pretty easy honestly. 1. Look at the state of the rules. 2. Look at the cost, and what you could be getting instead from other sources of entertainment, or just I dont know, renovate your house instead of buying that army. 3. Look at the state of the rules. 4. Look at the direction of the lore. Easy sell. phandaal 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384782-how-do-you-let-go/page/2/#findComment-6131677 Share on other sites
