Glad to see Sanguinary Guard moving closer to the 40ppm where I predicted they should be back before the Codex dropped. Mephiston getting tweaked upwards is not really surprising giving how often he turns up in competitive lists.

 

Looks like someone saw my analysis of of how many MWs a Captain with Rage Fuelled Warrior could dish out and realised it needed a price hike. Sorry fraters. :laugh:

I think he is still worth taking as he can hard-counter some of the big threats that we struggle to take down in melee. He just isn't quite so auto-include anymore.

Let's talk about outriders. If they charge in lag they have 15 S7 AP-1 D2 Attacks. They are fast, somewhat durable and cost 80 points. Now let's add a chaplain on bike for 75P. Another 6 S9 AP-1 D3 attacks and now everything also has +1 to wound. Also you should make some devastating wounds shooting at something with all those twin linked bolters. 

I've 6 outriders I started 3 years ago, I must have sensed a change because I assembled them last week and ran a squad pre MFM drop, losing auto 6 inch advance is a loss but  the buffs for a 80 point unit to bully light units in melee early in the game is good.  They still can't enter buildings though. Im putting blades on all my scouts because they are now better in our detachment even with the point increase.
