A Blood Angels Librarian Conclave?

Would any of you give this a whirl with Mephiston and/or a Librarian Dreadnought? How do you think it could play out for us?

I think this is mostly interesting for attached psykers, as the effects carry over to the units. Mephiston is now a lone wolf and can't join units anymore. You'd need Terminator, phobos, tacticus psyker and so on to go with key units to get some reward for picking this detachment. 

[Casual Heresy]

I wrote a silly list using the Librarius and far too many Terminators, trying to capture the energy of those 30 terminator World Eater lists that pop up occasionally, but in loyalist form. Main idea would be to use Biomancy on Turn one to get the Termies into the midfield, then change disciplines as required each turn, while the Lancers hunt big game and the Scouts sneak about scoring where they can. 

 

Is it a sensible list? Emperor above no! Will it be effective? That's a hard maybe. Will it be potentially funny and look cool? I think so.

I mean the only thing cooler than a Terminator is many Terminators.

 

Plus, my first BA army was an Archangels force using the Space Hulk models so looking to do a modern take on that list eventually with modern terminators and the huge number of shoulder pads I have from 2x Death Company boxes.

 

Actually just realised I got the points cost for the Scouts wrong, so dropping one squad of them for a Jump Pack Intercessor Squad instead.

BA just got their own Character detachment that would work better than this overall.

I don't think there is any point in playing the Librarius detachment in BA.

None of our special units can be led by a librarian and the only psycher we have cannot lead any unit.

From there, unless you absolutely want to play mephiston alone (and deprive yourself of the oath of the moment to improve), it is better to play another chapter in this detachment.
