Ya, thats what I am expecting too. I also, expecting for 11th. Things are going back to index lists and with that sisters are going to get an overhaul and I suspect will be at the bottom of the pile again.

I hope and pray to the emperor that we don't go index again.  I'm sick of the dex grind and don't want to reset to index again.  That said, I think the writing is on the wall that when Sisters do get their new dex, miracle dice are gone.  GW has learned the dice substitute mechanic does not balance well.

I dont think there will be indexs, 10th esp this year has outsold everything being 40ks most proserous year,

So far index resets have only happened when major problems with balance occurred, 7th ed..and 9th ed were the only eds that triggered index resets, and those were major stand out issues:yes:

My prediction is we'll get Indexes for 12th.

I'm convinced that GW's model is NOT a 3 year edition cycle, but a 6 year edition cycle that has a .5 update halfway through to allow the churn to continue.

9th was more 8.5 than it was a new edition, and I believe that 11th will be 10.5.

But I think 12th will be a reset.

Well, 3 year vs 6 year is a distinction without a difference if we have to eat an index every three years.  Don't get me wrong, they did a decent job on the indexes....but that's a punishment cycle for whoever is the last three dexes of the edition.  I already think GWs sales of the late dexes are gonna suffer after what they did to World Eaters and Guard last edition....here's your book...and it's no longer relevant.

They do it every edition....some army gets the shaft of late release and new edition. Unless you are Generic Space Marines they get everything.

I am curious as to the Grey Knights and Black Templars and probably even some of the other recent releases.  On the transition to 11th.  Will become really broken.  That a Space Marine codex will be rushed out asap to keep that faction on top.  Then near the middle a second Marine codex.  I hope they learned from the shelf life of 6th going into 7th being only a year.  With 7th really being 6.5.  I didnt get to play 9 but own the Sister codex.  It really looked to me like the 8th codex that we got right before the change over.  The one thing I dislike is the focus on Tournament play.  Going to 2 of the narrative events so far.  It sounds like those keep getting expanded and sell out fast.  The one in Tacoma even had 3 people waiting for drop outs.  Dallas, had a guy drop from the GT to play in the narrative too.  I see them trying to be more involved in the community with balance passes and updates which are welcomed for the most part.  I think, stop trying to be Privater Press and more Warmachine/Hordes like with its competitive mindset.  I am aware that game system recently changed hands and dont know much else about it.  Besides it very hyper tournament focused.
