Tolmeus Posted yesterday at 05:28 PM Share Posted yesterday at 05:28 PM I am going for this beauty! Hopefully this story involves Fulgrim more than 'Angron - The Red Angel' did regarding Angron. That was rather disappointing Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384814-upcoming-bl-stuff-2025/page/14/#findComment-6103959 Share on other sites
Krelious Posted yesterday at 05:37 PM Share Posted yesterday at 05:37 PM I'm not really a table top player but I like lore and shiny bits im wondering if the Limited Edition box for the Codex would be worth going for or just the novel, I'd hope the scalpers dont come out in force for this release. skylerboodie Posted yesterday at 07:14 PM Share Posted yesterday at 07:14 PM I don't like the look of this special edition, red is a very strange choice for fulgrim (rather than pink or purple) and, although I can live with the cover design itself (though I'm not keen on it), the plain white pages as well make it a very uninspiring and cheap looking special edition to me, IMHO. Felix Antipodes
I have jumped off the special/limited edition train for the most part and this one does nothing to drag me back. It will be the standard HB for me. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384814-upcoming-bl-stuff-2025/page/14/#findComment-6104023 Share on other sites
wecanhaveallthree
The Red Angel was a great Angron book in that it examines Angron through his Legion and his future, rather than have him stare deeply into his navel and monologue to, say, a dad he made out of dead bodies (thanks, Night Haunter!). Fulgrim is definitely the kind of guy who will go on for pages and pages and pages about himself, though. LemartesTheLost
The premise listed on WarComm has me intrigued, hopefully Reid can deliver with this one. The SE is nice but nothing spectacular.
