Well im in the queue, and im guessing im... im... I'll get the book, I just have to wait...

 

Estimated wait time is more than an hour. This is gonna be exactly the same as Vol 3 isnt it

 

The queue is paused now. This is either good news or bad news.

I had already ordered a copy of the HB, so wasn’t really caring about entering the LE lion’s den again.  I did want to see if GW had got themselves sorted out though, so added myself to the queue when it started.

After a 20 min wait I got added to the queue.  Good.  Your time in queue is estimated at “over an hour”.  Bad.  Queue goes on pause after 3 mins.  Worse.

The website jumped from pause to the preorder page after approx 20 mins. Good.  There it is!  Great!  There, but unable to access - 503 error.  :cuss:!

After 5 mins the 503 is gone, but still not able to select it.

 

So no real improvement since Vol 3 went up.  GW needs to bite the bullet wrt LE’s and make them MTO.  Everyone who wants one is happy.  Scalpers won’t care as no mark up to profit from.  GW sells all more books.  Everybody wins bar scalpers.

I got trolled really hard was able to click the button add to cart and it went loading forever with the 3 dots. Then I tried checking the cart to see if it was just a delayed response and nothing in there go back its greyed out again.

Such a piss take this.  Three hours I've been sat here refreshing to try and get this stupid book.  I pity all of those people who live in USA/Asia whose sleep is ruined by all of this.

I see that their genius master plan of moving it to a Tuesday and having every timezone try at the same time caused issues

Yeah i wasnt able to sleep because i was excited. I just lay there in bed. Then i got up at 4:30 to check on things its now over close to 4 hours since the supposed release time and no news. I would just like some confirmation the pre-orders are canceled so i can go to bed.

HH LE drops, battle to grab ensues, website fails due to weight of traffic, angry people all around and GW playing pretend its not happening.

 

God its JUST like old times. Say what you will about the marketing team at BL but they really captured the esence of a Siege of Terra LE release. Bravo i say! 

 

Now if the book does come online at some random hour and sells out in seconds WHILE also revealing its part 1 of two of the anthology instead of a stand alone epilogue like they said they can really knock it out of the park.

The radio silence other than 'we are aware of an issue and are working to fix it' is very frustrating.  People have now spent four+ hours trying to buy this book, give them a bit more information please.  Or better still, tell us you're cancelling the launch so we can all get on with our daily tasks.  Reschedule for when you have a better release plan.

It's back and forth, maintenance/403/prove you're a human, for like a hour+ already.

Website is back, but no book, like it's never been there, I assume they will give us a new date.

 

Also the Add to cart button is still greyed out.

 

The checkout button is greyed out as well, this is good news, I assume that means no one could buy a thing, they probably just disabled those buttons!
