What to get next for my army

Over the summer I got into 40k and started building a Sororitas army. I purchased Saint Celestine, the Army of Faith Box and the previous version of the Combat Patrol. That means my army includes: Celestine, 2 Geminae, a Rhino, 10 Seraphim, 5 Zephyrim, 4 Arcos with a leader (forgot the name), one Penitent Engine, one Exorcist.

 

What would you say are must-buys? I'm aiming to have a more or less competitive 2000 point army.

 

I really like vehicles, so I'm thinking about getting the Castigator and the Immolator. I also want 3 Paragon Warsuits.

 

I like manipulating Miracle Dice, so I'm thinking about also getting an Imagifier.

 

Should I get Morvenn Vahl? She seems powerful and seems to be used by many players. How important/ useful is she?

 

Anything else I should be taking into consideration?

Hi.

If you got the previous combat Patrol, them you should have a 5-model unit of Repentia (I assume that's what you have listed as 4 Arcos and a Leader).

 

Morvenn Vahl is very powerful and makes Paragon Warsuits even stronger, so she's definitely a good call to get.

Obviously, if you do get Morvenn Vahl, you should get Paragon Warsuits for her to lead.

The Triumph of Saint Katherine just got nerfed, along with Miracle Dice in general, but it's still good for MD manipulation (setting the MD to a 6 never hurts).

The New Combat Patrol doesn't have much overlap with what you have besides another Canoness (You've missed the Canoness from the old Combat Patrol off your list, btw) but the one in the new Combat Patrol is Multipart and builds different loadouts than the mono-pose one, so it's good to have both.

The new Combat Patrol also gives you 5 Celestian Sacrasants, 10 Arcos and a Battleline Unit in the form of a Battle Sisters unit.

 

The current mission pack for 40k favours Battleline units, so it would be worth getting a Box of Battle Sisters regardless.

Plus the same kit builds the Dominon unit if you instead want a Fast Attack option.

I agree more Battleline and some Celestian Sacrasents would be a great purchase. Followed up by Morvenn Vahl and Paragon war suits.

Ah, yes, right. I got 5 Repentia, not the same thing as Arcos, and I think there's a Canoness in each box. Sorry, don't remember the details as I don't have the boxes near me at the moment. And there are Battle Sisters included as well.

I think I'll end up getting Morvenn sooner or later.  I thought about the Triumph of Saint K; I think I will hold off on that for now as it seems to be a bit of a project unto itself.
I'll have to look into the Dominion unit. Thanks for the tip.

Cool! I was thinking about getting the Sacrasents as they look really cool, and I'm definitely getting the Warsuits. Yes, I figured they're a good match with Morvenn.

The new detachment makes me wish I picked up a 4th box of Sacrasents when I had a chance.  Will see what Secret Santa brings on Saturday though.
