Evil Eye
Being as I am quite mad and nothing if not ambitious, I have endeavoured to make a fully resin-printable 1/18 scale poseable Lelith Hesperax to accompany JoyToy's line of figures. I've actually wanted to do this for a while but never gotten round to sitting myself down and doing it until now. Anyway, I'm starting from the head; I had considered using a pre-made base mesh using software like Daz 3D to get the general shape and then refining the sculpt into its finished form in Blender, but for various reasons decided to try sculpting from scratch instead. This is what I have so far. Obviously nowhere near finished, but general guidance and critique would be welcomed. For what it's worth this is my first time trying to sculpt a realistic humanoid face and also my first attempt with using the Multiresolution modifier so try and bear that in mind. Also, this face is going to be about 11mm tall, so consider that too. I'm going for a slightly unhinged sadistic smile, for what it's worth; I figured it'd be more fun than another angry snarl. Firedrake Cordova
That's pretty impressive work. Aren't GW's Eldar faces normally a little longer/narrower/pointy compared to human ones? I'm wondering if that's a bit too close to human? And yes- it is definitely a bit too rounded and, well, human compared to most (official) depictions of Lelith. Her chin could definitely do with a bit of enpointening.
