This channel mostly does actual history but for the past year or so they have sprinkled in some 40k stuff. This past week they covered the Death Korp of Krieg:

Wonder what they're using as sources, regiment organisation has varied hugely across codexes/imperial armour/imperial munitorum manual etc.

Also the Departmento Muitorum does not record regiment size, just that it exists, there is no regulation size

I was referring to the Imperium Munitorum Manual of the Cadian 91st, which goes into a surprising amount of detail, 'five thousand and thirty souls' split into ten companies, but says its one of the smaller Cadian regiments, so sizes vary. Been a while since I read it properly, will be reading all of the codexes, imperial armour and the imperial infantryman's handbook in preparation for our codex next year/month!
