Ultra kblock
This is a nice kit. It would be even better if it was not just heads, but also some tyranid limbs or some arms with weapons still attached. Firedrake Cordova
It looks like a nice kit. It's a shame the example images just have the skull glued onto the base, instead of being "embedded" into it to give a more immersive appearance (i.e. sand part of it down, or cut it in two so it looks like it's embedded in the ground and only part of it is showing). 3 hours ago, darkhorse0607 said: Wonder if the old skull only set is going away I'd hope not - it can be used in all of GW's systems. bloodhound23 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384886-battlefield-trophies-set/page/2/#findComment-6082585 Share on other sites

Some even can used as damaged headgear! Article says 288 bits to put on the base, so assuming that is the number post assembly (like the whole torso) this only depicts 184 bits. Meaning we still have yet to see 104 more bits. Even if the torso somehow counted as 5 bits we'd still have a hundred bits yet to be revealed. Is it possible that just means multiples of a particular set of bits? Nephaston
25 minutes ago, bloodhound23 said: Is it possible that just means multiples of a particular set of bits? The only way that would work is if we had three sprues, one unique and two identical ones. But the article says it is two sprues, which also means that the ones already depicted are more than one sprue, but not both sprues completely, since 184 is way more that half of 288. So unless they copy pasted some bits on the sprue itself, which is definitely possible, we're talking 288 unique bits. I'd expect certain bits to be doubled, perhaps even more than once. Like the skulls. Certain ones, like the marine torso, will only feature once. The previously mentioned pack of skulls has certain bits repeated many many times. This one has a larger variety of unique bits, so the repetition will be less. But I would expect we've seen every unique bit on these images. skylerboodie and Firedrake Cordova 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384886-battlefield-trophies-set/page/2/#findComment-6082623 Share on other sites

sbarnby71 Posted yesterday at 09:51 AM Share Posted yesterday at 09:51 AM Really liking these, I'm a big fan of the old skulls set. Good to see what looks like Space Marine size skulls and a return of my all time fav, the ork jaw-bone, I use these to make lower face masks for my Marines. Casual Heresy Posted yesterday at 10:07 AM Share Posted yesterday at 10:07 AM I love this! Exactly the kind of thing I want for making bases a little extra. Alby the Slayer Posted yesterday at 11:25 AM Share Posted yesterday at 11:25 AM This is so unexpected and it's great! So many interesting pieces. I bought 3 of the "old" skulls set but this is even better! So much variety, ogryn skulls, xenos skulls and even servo-skulls! Amazing.
