Inquisitor_Lensoven
So we all know sanguinala is just 40K Christmas celebrating sanguinius’ sacrifice. im sure there’s at least 1 holiday celebrating the emperor. are there any other known holidays celebrating other primarchs? Karhedron
I suspect that a lot of 40k holidays are more local. Sanguinala is unusual in that it is celebrated Imperium-wide. Some of the old fluff mentioned the feast of the Emperor's ascension but I don't know if it is universally celebrated. AutumnEffect
Feast of the Emperor's Ascension, Sanguinala, Great Toasting of Russ, Feast of the Primarch's Rebirth, Festival of Saints, Festival of the Heart/Heart Day Necromunda has Fistmas The Ecclesiarchy uses 'feast' in the same way that the Catholic church does for feast days for saints; not a large meal but just a 'celebration', hence why many of these are actually marked with fasting.
