wet paint palette

Looking at updating my wet pallet. Thinking of buying one instead of making one this time.  Any recommendation?

Personally, I use the "original" (Mk I) Red Grass Games one - can't say I've had any problems*, and it's better than the one I made out of a Citadel tufts/sand box and cellulose foam (which is my sole frame of reference). I seem to be struggling to find any group tests.  

 

Vince Venturella has a general video on wet palettes which might be worth a watch.

 

++EDIT: I did once leave it with water in it for 3 months (I thought I'd cleaned it and hadn't), and it did end up very mouldy. Entirely my fault, but it underscores the point "mould-resistant" does not mean "mould-proof".

I bought the army painter one a few weeks back but I’ve used the red grass one before and that was excellent but it’s always sold out which is why I bought the army painter one.

I still use my old Masterson Stay Wet palette with Kroger parchment paper. Cheap and does the job well.

My fiancé (now wife) bought me this one last year for my birthday. Very similar to the Army Painter one. It does keep the paint fresh. And I am very impressed.

I use the army painter one. It’s perfectly good, have left it unattended for a month or two before with no mould.

I've been using the Redgrass Painter Lite wet palette for a few months now. Good size for my setup, and the foam pads have a built-in anti-fungal effect that's supposed to not wear out over time. So far it seems quite effective.

I have both the 1st and 2nd gen RGG palette and while my 1st gen didnt seal properly and developed a few mold spots I just opened up my 2nd gen to wash it after leaving closed since july and it was still damp and with zero mold present. No coppar inserts either.

I was very impressed.

 

On the other hand, their paper is a bit too permeable which leads to paint soaking up too much water and separating fairly easily imo.

Thank you all for replies.  Looking at army painter vs wetndri vs  redgrass.  Does anyone have a link to the redgrass palette official site?  Having difficulty finding it (the rest are sold out or on ebay for double the price of the others).  Thanks for the input everyone, probably will be buying one shortly due to getting back into the hobby.
