Grimtooth
Bulveye Greybeard, crosses the Rubricon Primaris while taking a nap, because it is a cakewalk in comparison to 10k years in the Eye of Terror. Now he can at least look his Wulfen in the eye when he growls out orders to them. They bring back the wolf priest from Gameaday 2003, in Primaris, to help keep the Wulfen from “marking” the Thunderhawks as their property. Psyker hunting Reivers join in because what self-respecting psyker hunting Reiver wouldn’t want to join the OG 1k Sons hunting 13th? Add some Angry Dreads and vehicle support and call it a day! Bryan Blaire
Good God it would be amazing to get a new Wolf Priest that aped that particular figure near-identically. sbarnby71
Is that a tactical rock circa 2003? The Wolves were so ahead of their time. Grimtooth
By far one of my best models in my collection. Reminded me of the Chaplain Xavier I got when I first started 40k and bought the Salamnders box set when it came out. 13th Co has always been a fun army to play since they first started actually giving them codex entries. The old metal Wulfen were cool when they came out and a 13th Co Wolf Lord was bonkers. Marshall Bretton
This is something I really hope gets worked into the new book, the 13th could be so much fun to both model and play Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/384924-wish-upon-a-star-13th-company-detachment/#findComment-6085831 Share on other sites

Wulfen are just a single unit so maybe Wulfen, TWC and Fen Wolves? Wulfen are just a single unit so maybe Wulfen, TWC and Fen Wolves? It would be so simple to implement which means GW won’t do it. Haha! I would like to see a Wulfen-centric list that would be centered around a 13th Co Wolf Lord (alpha) and Wolf Priest (shepherd). Since the original Ragnar series, even in their wild state, the Wulfen respected the alpha and still had reverence to a wolf priest. I hold back on including a rune priest because they are now back in “real” space as opposed to previously arriving from the warp to assist and then vanishing back to the warp. But at the same time I would also have include one as you can say they are still hunting the 1k Sons aka psykers which leads to my next point; Hounds of Morkai Reivers. A Primaris unit that like Ragnar, I see fits into our faction by design/rules and lore. Next would be dreads. I really enjoyed how in Battle of the Fang, the “creatures” were submissive to Bjorn and the other dreads that were awakened for the battle. Again, despite their primal state, they still revered pack hierarchy. A 13th Co army for the here and now of 40k is different now than it was before. Instead of from the warp “deep striking” shock unit, they would have armored support to get them into the mix. I am not talking transport, but armored fire support to keep the enemies ducking for cover while they advance into melee range to run amok.
