Tortuga Ezekiel conversion

I picked up the Tortuga Ezekiel and the head just didn’t look right to me.  I performed some serious surgery on an old resin Ezekiel and got it to this.  It’s not perfect by any means but the head looks more proportional regardless.  He’s looking much more towards the ground than I wanted but the way I had to butcher the old model it didn’t leave much choice.  It was further complicated by the fact I had to use a pos recast because the only GW model I could source was metal.  If he was ever fine cast I couldn’t find one.  Tortuga made him way too big to be honest.  He’s dang near Gravis size.  I put a Gravis style DA pad on him because the tacticus style looked too small.  Hopefully GW gives us a new scale Ezekiel next go around.

Well, I put him beside a new terminator and realized just how bad the scale was.  Yikes.  I cut his feet down to make him shorter but he’s still too big.  Not sure I’d make this purchase if I had it to do over.  The Cataphractii I picked up to make assault Deathwing look good though.  The scale seems good.  I guess I won’t know for sure until they are together.
