I'm ready to say my plodding along vow is done. If I ever do another titan, I am doing a lot differently!

 

This is really hard to photograph well! I still need to sort out some blue flock - I use blue tufts on my Drukhari/Craftworld infantry but the blue flock I found so far doesn't look very good so I don't want to ruin the base with it.

 

 

Overall just gonna be glad to put it in a display case and off my desk!

Bit late for the month, for April I vow to complete, 5 30k Blood Angels (1sgt, 2 Spears, 2 sacrifices) this'll be ambitious but have a new army build slowburn event with mates in June and if i don't finish the 10man squad with these 5 I definitely won't finish the others squad next month =)

However for May I have to pledge my not-kill team for the ‘Knives In The Shadows’ event as I only just finished building them and now need to paint htem pronto before th event ends.

It's done, but it didn't work out well. I gave it everything I had, but I made a few mistakes. The glow effect on the eyes failed completely, the wash wasn't diluted enough and makes it look like I dunked him in coffee, I used an old brush for the edge highlights so I din't get solid experience doing those like I wanted. All that and I lost 1 1/2 bottles of Vallejo when I didn't see the clog in time.

 

I'm not proud of this one, but I stopped when it felt finished and not when the buzzer went off, and I'm genuinely proud of that, if nothing else.

I'm in a similar boat to Lord Ikka, just not getting the enthusiasm and throughput I'm hoping for.

 

Did manage to get three Land Raiders and my buildings batch done, but everything else is going to tick over.

Oops! Forgot to post my completed models for April. I managed the five tanks and six crew from the March! For March event but didn’t get the Kill Team guys done. Although my post is late, I hope @Grotsmasha will forgive me as I already posted the guard on the March thread so there is evidence they were done in time.

Vow complete! I think he’s a little better IRL than the photo, but it turns out Tau faces are just as hard as humans.  I’m working on a few more with helmets, once I do the lenses I’ll post those too.
