Forget opening a plant in the US, get over to Greenland and hook up to a geothermal site. Might be cheaper to pull off that heat source. 

 

Then again shouldn't be too surprised considering we are talking about keeping molten plastic at ~400 degrees 24/7/365. Still will keep an eye on the UK energy market more so then normal. 

 

No, to clarify from my rambling: 

 

1 house = 2700kwh

13 house = 35000kwh. 

35000 = 8% of total. 

Total = 440,000 kwh. 

That's based on those panels mentioned in the article installed back in 2017. It'll be higher now I'd think, though they have more solar panels since then as well.
