Apparently this INCLUDES the old Dark Heresy library!  As my GM said, 40k explains how people die in the Imperium, but Dark Heresy (and Rogue Trader and Only War) describes how people live.  It's like, what does a Rogue Trader do, day-to-day?  And if you want to try before you buy...

...they give any number of free starter adventures to give you a taste.

I've played both the Dark Heresy RPGs and Wrath & Glory.  Mechanics-wise, the former is a % percentage-based system, the latter is a dice pool system.  Both have their own different jankiness.  One thing I remember is the healing skill is very important in Wrath & Glory, but it's like a medic treating another patient, you can't heal yourself...so what happened was everyone paired up like kindergarteners and heal each other after every encounter.  It's not the worst thing, it's like how in every military people develop their own Buddy system, but it's stuff like that.

And even if you DON'T want to play, the Dark Heresy titles are really good background sourcebooks.  They do a good job playing out the lore GW developed to a logical end, remind me a little bit of the Horus Heresy Black Books by Forgeworld where things are written like a documentary, but with way more artwork to illustrate the different cultures of the Imperium.

Recommend maybe you just check out these free $0.00 titles, to see what we're talking about when praise Dark Heresy so.
