Assuming that Lucius is revealed at LVO (which seems rather likely given the LVO banner), hopefully there's at least a little more for EC there - very keen to see a basic marine from the range even if we're still a few months away. Either way, his silhouette looks fantastic. Hell of a glow-up

I think if they’re showing Lucius, they’ll probably be showing everything? The box will come a good month or so before Lucius, so seems weird to show him first, and if they show the box and Lucius it only leaves one unit to not show which is a weird amount to keep back.

Yeah cause there’s no kill team in this preview either so I would be surprised if the only thing they show at a preview is 1 model for a whole format

The last preview was excellent and a big improvement over their recent showings so it makes sense that they would return to form, show a silhouette of something that's not even being revealed and make a mess of things before they even start this one.

I don’t get my hopes up with gw , the preview in November seemed nice but what did it cost us to get it, 6 months of no 40K products? Blood angels were announced and mainly release in like august, and all we get for the rest of the year was a crappy road map

2024 I’d say was one of the worst years for 40K

Because it's still further away than knights and they need a preview. There's also a chance some eldar stuff needs to be shown (such as the combat patrol etc).

But why show Lucius then, and not a unit from the box, when that’ll be out quite a bit before Lucius will? We don’t know that Knights aren’t getting a preview here too, and they might show the Eldar combat patrol on WarCom which they’ve done before.

Tbh, I'm expecting the 40k Reveals to be the Knights stuff (ideally both Imperial and Chaos) and maybe whatever that Corsair stuff Valrak was on about if it's not a Kill Team thing, with them pulling a bait and switch like last time and dropping the entire EC box reveal at the end.

 

And as for Lucius, his inclusion in the silhouettes is another cluckup by GW and he's not being shown off at LVO at all like the Thanatar and the TOW Beastman.

Well I thought that was weird too, but presumably to have a big reveal on Christmas.

They’ve changed the picture on the front page of the news before you click through to remove the Thanatar and Beastman, so I think these three are at LVO and those two aren’t.

My predictions: We will see additions to the Admech 30k stuff that offers alternate builds for existing kits. The thanatar obviously but also maybe the melee version of the Thallax, and potentially the tank variants of the transport. 

 

For 40k probably the EC stuff, maybe what ever will be in the launch box. Maybe the Noise Marines and Lucius.

The Lucius silhouette looks so good, I'm confident GW will knock this model out of the park. They've had some big wins imo, when it comes to The Lion, Abaddon, etc

 

I'm not particularly excited for any more 30k reveals. The game is just not popular enough amongst my group, and it's a massive investment of time and resources so I don't see that charging in the future in this context. 

 

I almost feel that Games Workshop have too many big games at the moment. I'd be more excited about a new Warhammer Quest that uses the more simple and elegant systems from games such as "The Silver Tower" and "Shadow over Hammerhall."

Pretty much confirms the Big Bot is just more HH mechanicus being converted to plastic then, as promised. They did say that would happen with models from LI. Release a little later in the year.

HH won't have any reveals at LVO, looks like the flub wasn't HH being left of the announced games but the fact that many (myself included, assumed the silhouettes were things going to LVO when not all of them were).

 

If anything, the HH reveals may either be Hersey Thursday fodder or AdeptiCon (depends on if new box is a starter refresh or a whole new edition, don't think the rumours have fully said?).

It looks to me like it might be the Arachnotek Golem House Agent for Van Saar. Hopefully I'm wrong and it's something else because I don't know anyone that uses House Agents.
