Van Saar Chaos undivided.

When using one of the Van Saar models (I bought teks, ordinary gang and a box of arachnids, not planning more for em anyway') as a tester model, I at first painted them red thinking of making them a sort of infiltrator/surviver group during an admech invasion in the worst case scenario, but I really disliked the palette when it was done, sue me.

 

Ended up wondering how cool it would be if a Van Saar group would go outcast warband, so made the tester model into a chaos undivided black legion instead.

Did take me some contrast paints to do it as I didn't really want to strip the model, as I had painted it unassembled in the first place to hit the behind the gun and metalponytailthing bits..

 

Will be painting the whole gang in this palette now as I love it.

 

On the left you see the first test palette, on the right the chaos undivided palette. :)

Both look good; I can see why you would like the undivided one more. Looking forward to see how the whole gang turns out.

hehe, thanks. Yeah its not --bad-- or anything but a whole army in that red would just be so meh and secondly I disliked the lore idea I had initially as it very badly connected with canon, atleast there is such a thing as outcast chaos gangs.
