Kicking this off with a Wraithguard squad.

Iyanden are a fun scheme. The yellow and blue are just nice to me.

I got on the Iyanden kick with the first of my Rangers, Niall Way-Leaver. Since then, I've painted or assembled ~500 points of Aspects, Wraiths, and Rangers.

Striking Scorpion Exarch. I try to tie the Aspect Warriors into the Craftworld scheme at least somewhat even if there's no 'canon' shrine associated with Iyanden, hence the use of blue and yellow in places here. Gave him Ze Claw™. Still need to improve on my gemstone painting. I don't have a brush out of my dozens that can really do the classic reverse dark-midtone-highlight gemstone method on the smaller ones.

Looking forward to those vehicles with lots of yellow. Taxi cabs for your wraiths.

Not very fond of vehicles (I pretty much exclusively handpaint), but we'll see!

they look great. have you decided on a list? or are you just randomly picking cool looking models?

Everything is up in the air depending on pts costs for the new 'Dex, but I'm thinking something like this as a 'starting force':

  • 1x Farseer (painted)
  • 1x Spiritseer (painted)

  • 1x Guardian Defender Squad (fully painted)

  • 5 Dark Reapers
  • 5 Dire Avengers (Fully painted)
  • 5 Howling Banshees (already 4/5 painted)

  • 5 Wraithguard (fully painted)
  • 6 Windriders (currently on the desk waiting for primer)
  • 1 Wraithlord (fully painted)

Before its winnowing in the Triple Woe, Óína Charoi was one of the most militant Great Houses on Iyanden. Its halls in the Dome of the Red Moon played host to several Aspect Shrines and it could muster many assault units of Storm Guardians. Its Seers carried on this bellicose set of tendencies, with many Warlocks arising from Charoi. Though much diminished as a Ghost House, it retains these capabilities to some extent, thanks to the leadership of Niall Way-Leaver.

One of the Aspect Shrines played host to by Charoi were the Void Skein Shrine of Warp Spiders. Specialists in sudden, unexpected strikes, they were as a thunderstorm out of a clear sky. Only recently has a worthy of the house taken on the armour of the Void Skein's Exarch, allowing for the rebirth of the Shrine.
