Daemons and undivided?

So currently speculation points to deamons getting folded into their respective cults armys. whats the speculation on what will happen with undivided? will regular chaos gain any benefit or  just be left as is or get cut off?

i dont  personally use nor plan to but im curious for other factions within our umbrella how the predicted changes will fold in on us all...

I am assuming that they will get a PDF type deal.  I expect things will be more clear once the first cult codex is leaked/previewed/released

Where is this speculation regarding turfing the demon codex coming from? Demon data sheets in legion codecs is not new and never precluded a stand alone demon codex. I probably missed something but I remain confused at the assumption demons are disappearing as a faction. Belacore has a pretty plastic kit that ain't going nowhere

Valrak said he thought they were going to in a video a while ago, but I think he specifically mentioned this was not a rumor he heard and more of his own thought (someone fact check me in this). I didn't watch the LVO stream, but I thought I read people saying they said in the stream (or showed?) that Slaanesh daemons (including characters this time) would be in the codex. I've seen the same unit in different codexes before, but I don't think I've seen named characters in different codexes though.

 

40k has been copying the less successful age of sigmar for some reason when it comes to things like free wargear, set unit sizes and costs. In Sigmar there is not Daemon codex, just cult like armies to each god. 8th edition did have SOME of the daemons in the legion codexes, but only some and they all lacked the marine legions' keyword so it was largely pointless. In the death guard codex all that was in it was nurglings, plaguebearers, beasts of Nurgle and plague drones. No characters.

 

Be'lakor is only a minor character in 40k and had a larger presence in fantasy. It would be easy to just put him in the chaos space marine codex next edition. He also doesn't play well with other daemons anyways. 

 

But just because the daemons are in the cult codexes does not automatically mean that the daemon codex goes bye bye. I'm not sure what is going to happen. The good news is I imagine we are only a few months out from finding out.
