Good to know. It does seem to be country-specific, as everything is still available for pre-order here in Canada.

It's somewhat surprising if it is largely scalpers responsible for sellouts in the preorder window as basically none of these things are limited release like launch boxes or whatever.

Glad you got what you were hoping for at any rate!

Cool, yea, I appreciate that as the first day went on, some things have indeed sold out in some countries.

Some of the earlier concern posts also seemed to be focused on availability in LGSs, which will always be a craps shoot, it seems. Some of them may take pre-orders before the official Saturday announce/launch, which means it's not a bad idea to ask them to get you on their list before they even find out what their allocation will be.

I've already put in for the EC box but I'm looking for backups in case their allocation isn't sufficient. Anywhere you'd recommend? I'm trying to find places that have allocation numbers on their sites. 401 seemed to be gone before the time.

I should have also said, I'm also in Canada.

Pretty dang rural out here (2h north of GTA) tbh so for new or limited releases I often just order direct from GW. Closest LGS is 40m away and GW's free shipping threshold is lower than 401 or Meeple so yeah... But I also try to use secondary market as much as I can - specifically d6miniatures offers good prices on NIB stuff so even though he charges shipping that's usually the cheapest option if he has what I want. DM me if you want a link to their list and contact info.

Thanks boss, I'm up in North BC so there's a store in Edmonton I use. However, not sure if he'll manage to get 4 boxes or not.

I was looking today, the rebox wave serpent we up 10 dollars. and the warwalkers are now 2. but they went up 5 dollars in total.

the 10 dollars surprised me a little

The wave serpent got the falcon sprue in there too now so its really 50% more plastic ( not saying if its good or bad.. just that thats why the price went up probably)

ah ok, that wasn't clear. good to know

Yeah the rebox is actually not bad - now you have one kit but with a little care in the build you can have both tanks at your disposal depending on what list you feel like running; similar to the rhino/razorback/whirlwind. I like it.
