So Lorgar return teased? Will he get a 40k model? Do we get Word Bearers too? Will we just get Word Bearers? Will it be just a Night Lords esque glow up sprue? Is this just Lorgar being in the lore more v GW love Primarch sales

 

Personally I dont think therell be a WB codex, maybe Lorgar and some units in Chaos Codex.

Did he explicitly say it was Lorgar though? Following some other threads on this and there's debate whether or not its just a powerful demon rather then him. Personally I think that GW would be as subtle as a nuke regarding a primarch and would have him name himself.

 

Regarding a return, we know all surviving chaos primarchs are active at the moment, Perturabo is even allied with Vashtorr currently as I reckon he'll be the next to hit tabletop. Partly because I feel Iron Warriors are more popular than Word Bearers. They'll all receive plastification in time though.

I think the assumption is coming from the when it sounds like he says "Fear not son, you will have an eternity in my loving embrace" unless I am mishearing it.

 

No idea though on my part if it is or not but I think people will run with it being Lorgar either way but I'd be surprised if he was getting a model anytime soon.  I guess I could see the IP marketing potential if they started rolling out Primarchs sooner to then license out to other companies for merch and video games rather than drip feed with each new edition.

The animation definitely could've used some subtitling.

I didn't hear "Son", I heard "Sarun", or something like that, as if they were referring to their name.  I don't think anything given makes it look like Lorgar or even points to it being Lorgar other than it being a Word Bearer, and the demon speaks about how time is endless which is not something I'd expect Lorgar to speak considering he had a specific beginning point in existence.

Watching other vids on it, I think Word Bearers are in this animation for a reason, so my best guess is Word Bearer Kill Team/Upgrade Sprue inbound

That I could see, the same as an Alpha Legion one. Seems the best way to sort out the undivided legions

We'll definitely get Lorgar back in 40k at some point - my educated-guessing - slash - fan-theorising  leads me to believe he'll be the next Daemon Primarch after Fulgrim (likely towards the end of 11th Edition )

I am not convinced about it being Lorgar. It does not match his description in Shadows of the Past (the only one I am aware of that features him post-ascension).

Having watched the episode now in full I personally think that it is the warp form of the daemon that is possessing him that he sees and not Lorgar.

Not to mention as pointed out in a different thread but they reused Archaon the Everchosen helmet for the demon, pretty sure Lorgar didn't look like him
