There's a part of me that thinks this "removal" of the restrictions is actually what GW intended the initial change to mean, but it was just written really badly.

That's not what it says. It says you cannot mix and match models from the settings, like have a rando mwood elf amongst your genestealer cult models. Conversions are fine. LOTR models have not been allowed to be officaill combined with other GW ranges since...2001, so this is not news.

=][= Right I'm going to lock this down as the link with proof seems to be dead, and whatever people are up in arms over has now been rescinded or never existed. If Evil Eye reposts a screen of the original wording, we can think about reopening. =][=
