So as I said in another recent post, rereading DoB.

the part where mephiston is being drug through khorne’s territory, and he describes a fiery angel.

”an angel of scarlet fire ignited into being, his wings filling the sky. His outline shivered with heat distortion. His sword burned.”

if it weren’t for the bit about the wings it would be obviously about guilliman’s return, but the wings seem like it’s a direct reference to sanguinius.

the angel appears in a rift between the warp and real space almost like he’s there to stand in the way of ka’bandha and his legions.

again the connections between sanguinius and ol’ bandy there again leads me to see this as a direct reference to sanguinius.

the eldar says “a lord of men returns” again could be about girlyman, but being right after a winged angel appeared makes me think it’s a foreshadowing of sanguinius’ return.

am I crazy?

I think that the figure standing in the rift is a reference to the Sanguinor rather than Sanguinius. In Ruinstorm, the Exalted Herald sacrifices himself to hold a warp rift and allow Sanguinius and the rest of the Blood Angels to escape from the daemon Madail. Sanguinius' last glimpse of the Herald has wings sprouting from his back which seems to be the birth of the Sanguinor as a warp being.

It’s a possibility but the eldar says ‘a lord of men is returning’ or something like that. Which again on its own would be a clear reference to girlyman but in combination it seems an obvious reference to sanguinius

Has there been any novels that have had Teus after his ascension in them?

I would love a duology or a trilogy about him.

one as a battle brother, one as a sgt, and one as a captain.

honestly if he doesn’t end up with the BA themselves I’d love to see him become chapter master of whatever chapter he ends up with.

yes he's got a number of scenes in darkness in the blood, he's wearing phobos armour and seems to be being trained as an incursor. I enjoyed the scenes a lot and would love more.

he is very much a blood angel

Well guess I’ll get restarted on that one now.

i do hope we get to see more of him. He seems like a great example of the epitome of the theme of BA raising the wretched up.
