Token
Is there a big difference between the size of Catachan and Goliaths? Could Goliath be stand ins for Catachan? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385268-goliaths-as-catachan-size/ Share on other sites
Grotsmasha
IIRC, Necromunda models are a head taller than the old plastic Guard, here we go, bottom row N1SB 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385268-goliaths-as-catachan-size/#findComment-6093424 Share on other sites
Token
Thanks! Quite big but not superbig, the wide stance could be a problem. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385268-goliaths-as-catachan-size/#findComment-6093428 Share on other sites
Grotsmasha
Looking @ GW's webstore, most of the Goliaths are in that wide pose, Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385268-goliaths-as-catachan-size/#findComment-6093429 Share on other sites

Grotsmasha
The real question is, do you play competively? If not, the base size mightn't matter. If you predominantly play with friends, or at least people you know, I'd imagine people would rather play with a creatively modelled army with slightly larger bases. Trokair
While the Goliaths won’t fit on 25mm bases they may just fit on 28.5mm bases, and if so then maybe you could use them as Catachan count as Kasrkin, or maybe as a Command squad (as those are on 28.500 bases unlike the regular troopers). Along these lines, Goliath Stimmers could be count as Ogryns or so, and that kit comes with Goliath Juve equivalent that could help with regular troops...
