This forum gave me a lot of inspirations for painting my modells. So I started last year a big restoration project. It was a good opportunity to improve airbrush skills.

Magnetising and repainting iconic Space Marine vehicles (before they are sent to legends...):

4 Rhino chassis

1 Vindicator

1 Landraider

Another project from  2023/24 (new, no restoration): 1 of 2 Contemptor Dreadnoughts. Magnetised, heads from puppetswar.

As soon as I had finished them, GW threw them into legends... That joke could repeat itself with other projects.

Another cracking model.

Note: although the contemptor has gone to legends, there’s no reason you can’t just proxy it as a standard dreadnought in games of 10th. Multi melta or twin lascannon loadouts are both valid, and you could use the assault cannon profile for the twin autocannon.

Awesome weathering and the work around the shell impacts are stunning.  I just don't have the eyes anymore for that level of detail - it's a young person's game.

I highly recommend magnifying glasses. It makes painting details much more relaxing

Here's the 2nd Contemptor. It's cold outside, so take your meltas for a walk.

I already have a plan for a little conversion to bring the models back into the game. Pics will follow.

I've done that from time to time, but find they give me a headache.  I think my main issue is I've spent a lot of time re-painting JoyToy scale pieces and then when I come back to 32mm scale boy do they feel fiddly and tiny.

I found a way to bring the contemptor modell from legends back to the game. As usual with Space Wolves: add axe & shield and the world is fine again. Meet the Wulfen Dreadnought. Magnetised.

Finished a Space Wolves Judiciar. I made this conversion because I don't like the GW Judiciar miniature

Torso and axe from Krom.
Legs from Primaris Lieutenant.

Head, and shoulder pads from greytide studios

Hour glass self-made.

Another restoration project:  Outrider conversion from old marine bikes aka "The real Thunderwolves"

I never liked the idea of Marines riding wolves. In 40k you should either have a motorbike or a jetbike!
I made these wolf heads on the classic SM bike 14 years ago from plastic card, in a time before 3d printing. Then sadly they didn't see much play on the tabletop.
After some repainting they are now ready for a second life as Outriders-proxies.
