All now on pre-order.

Highlight for me is £31.50 for a squad of Krieg, which makes them £25.20 on many FLGS sites. That’s massively better than the £42.50 for the Kill Team box.

Damn, only £31.50 for a 10-man infantry box? That's GENEROUS from GW!

Yeah it’s not bad… realised at the same time that the Cadians are the same price. Krieg have always been more expensive though so I guess it seems more of a discount for them.

Question is, will other kill teams see something similar in the future, or are Krieg the lucky ones

I would bet that, like this box, they remove the specialist sprue (if a set has one) as well as all the tokens and we will see more like them.

Kinda wish I had grabbed a KT DKoK box but the aesthetic isn't my jam, but I do enjoy having varied sculpts to play with.

Now I'm seriously considering picking up the Kill Teams that I'd be after (Kasrkin and Pathfinders) just in case when they rotate out of Kill Team you can't get the specialist sprues anymore.

Pretty sure the Pathfinders have the upgrade sprue in their Combat Patrol.

But it's good to see their basic infantry available at a lower point than the Kill Team, even if I miss the days of 20 Cadians in a box (don't get me wrong, the detail on those sculpts wasn't incredible but it didn't make you wince buying Platoons).

lol “out of stock” on GW and most FLGS already. You really would think they would produce more of these considering how popular they are. Why they don’t just guarantee any pre-orders made by x date and then produce the requisite number of sprues I don’t know. Somehow I don’t think they have trouble shifting any leftover kits if they over produced a bit.

There wouldn't be much point picking up the Kasrkin kill team for that reason - they don't have a B/upgrade sprue like Death Korps Kill Team. The Death Korps Kill Team has a B sprue with all the specialists on it, it was clearly designed to be released without it separately later. Not so for Kasrkin.

It's still on sale, albeit out of stock, and will be until they rotate out at the end of this season.

It's due to how much the factory is putting out though, apparently they have a schedule of how much they produce and when, that's coincidentally worked out three years in advance (this was stated in one of those financial reports) it's why they want another factory to increase how much they can produce.

Yeah I didn’t know exactly how it was worked out but this makes sense. Hopefully this new factory will make a big difference.

I expect that "Out of stock" in this case is more of a "we aren't going to stock this" anymore type of out of stock.

I also would never buy from GW direct and my local guy has said he won't be able to get any more of the KT version. So I wouldn't expect that box to last even as long as the KT season.

Hmm, when something goes out of stock permanently GW tends to say sold out online rather than temporarily out of stock. There have been supply issues with that kit all year.

Hopefully so, in the best case scenario regarding the amazon deal, there's going to be potentially more customers that are going to want goods. GW's bottleneck production could be a storm of their own making (in a sense, i doubt their initial plans covered 40k's explosive popularity these past few years)

That's what I get for not actually checking the sprue breakdown hah.

Thanks for the info. I have "Unbroken" (That in an ideal world I'd run as a Kasrkin Character as opposed to an alternate Sergeant) and would love to get some Kasrkin as they're iconic 40K to me. The artwork that model is based off along with the Cadian Shock Trooper, perfect.

I use my Unbroken as a Castellan when I run him. Suboptimal loadout but he looks so badass with a group of Kasrkin arrayed around him.

I love the model too, but I wish the sword was pointing directly downward like in the art. A minor quibble but hey we’re 40k fans.

Ah, at least with a hellpistol he won’t lose his hand.
