If using Pariah Nexus Crusade, do you also need the Pariah Nexus Mission deck?

Subject says it all, I'm looking at starting a Pariah Nexus Crusade series of games and I'm wondering if  its used with the Pariah Nexus Mission deck, requires it, or plays better with it?

I don't think so; the mission cards are for matched play, and Crusade is not that.

Crusade has their own specific missions which are rolled for at the beginning of the battle based upon battle size.  You can check the Waha site for more information; they've got all the rules stuff on there.
